Good-bye Cruel World...

Have you ever been so frustrated you wanted to throw your computer out the window? Ok, that is today!!!! I feel like screaming. I have tried 5 times to publish this post and everytime I do it deletes half of it. So, I have to start all over again. Well, not this time buddy. Here's the jist of what I have been trying to write all day. I have not been here lately b/c I have been at
http://www.myspace.com/godlymom24 b/c all the kids in my highschool small group convinced me this was the way to go. From what I have gathered this is the somewhat latest and newest way all these kids keep in touch and I have to say I like it to. It keeps me in touch with the kids and allows me to have a positive impact on them everyday. No one posts blogs for the most part, it's just a way to leave daily comments if you want. It's pretty cool. Although, it can also be pretty raunchy and you have to be careful.

Another hiatus, going to see the Daigles. Will post pics when I get back. Leave comments. Have a great week. Did you all get that? Now let's see if it will publish.

Surprise....of the decade....Majicmom style.

This is a very exciting year in the life of my father. He turns 60!! Way to go DAD! Anyway, the plan was to visit during spring break and have a surprise party for him and also hang with all of our friends and once again bask in feeling at "home". As most of you know Abefroeman is in restaurants and so a spring break trip is basically out of the question for us. Ok, so I was trying not to panic at the thought of not seeing anyone from "home" for who knew how much longer. But of course as usual my super hero saves the day and Christmas money came in handy also. Brian rearranged his whole schedule just so I could fly and surprise my dad and best friend. It was so unbelievable. They had no clue. Ronnie said he could hear Jeanette screaming at the bottom of the drive way and my dad did a double take (those are always fun to see). The whole 6 days from beginning to end was truly a blessing. Saturday evening I surprised my dad again with a dinner to honor him turning 60 albeit a month early. The picture on the cake was taken when he was about 17, priceless. The pics below are from the party.

Being "home" made me realize more than ever its not about where you live, it's about the relationships you share. I miss it so terribly but since I know this is where God has us for now I should be excited at what He has for us.

Hang on, there's still more to share.
