The Majic Team

Did you ever know that you're my hero??

This post is dedicated to my very good friend Betsy. She worked tirelessly and selflessly to help me get my blog up and running b/c I am computer illiterate. Thank you so much Betsy. You are my HERO!! You ROCK!! I had to post this great photo I took at their wedding b/c I think they are the cutest couple and I love and miss them dearly. Thanks again Bets!!

The Miracle of technology

Isn't this incredible? This is my niece Cheyanne Nita. She is due to enter the world sometime in December. I probably won't see her until she is about 4 months old since my sister lives in Oklahoma. This picture amazes me. When I was pregnant with Jared 12 and a half years ago the only reason I got an ultrasound picture was b/c they thought something was wrong and I had to travel 2 and a half hours for a "special scan." Now, you can see in 3-D. All I can say is WOW!! Does this amaze anyone else or am I the only one?

Do you hate Monday's?

I have noticed people do not blog on Monday's, well except Matt. So, I have a theory...ok just kidding no I don't. What are Monday's like for you? Do you hate them, love them, happy when they are over, suffer through them...here is your chance to tell the world how you feel about Monday's. Personally, I dont' really have a thing with Monday's. It's the beginning of another week and I get myself into the groove once again of homework, lunchboxes, gym clothes, uniforms and spelling words. Since it's Tuesday I figure you are all over your little Monday thing and would be happy to comment. So, let's hear it!!!

My Boyfriends Back and Your Gonna be in Trouble...

Well, we survived! Last Saturday the 10th Brian returned safely home to us after being gone 10 weeks with a 10 day break in the middle. I won't lie, it was stressful but God is SO GOOD. Once we worked through some of the kinks we found this break actually stregthened us. He actually starts his first day at his new restaurant today so we have been having a blast just hanging out enjoying each other and the kids. As soon as we picked him up from the airport at 4:30 we headed straight to Universal in Orlando for the ROCK THE UNIVERSE concert featuring SKILLET, THIRD DAY, MICHAEL W. SMITH, CHRIS TOMLIN to name a few. However, we were there to hang with our friend and lead singer of the group PILLAR, Rob Beckley. When we got there, it was totally insane. There were thousands of people and the wait times for rides were anywhere from 45-100 minutes. But, once we hooked up with Rob that wasn't an issue. He had his own escort to go through the back to the rides and get to the front of the line. It was so great. Although we only rode 2, they were the busiest 2. Anyway, we had the greatest time. Here are a couple of pics.

All my boys back together

The Boys are back in town L-R Jared, Brian, Rob, Jackson, Noah, Jayden, Mike, Bo and Lester

Since being home Brian and I have spent time at the beach, the pool, running and walking together and going to starbucks. I have a new appreciation for women who are constantly separated from their men and I thank God this came to an end. Just a reminder to all of you...COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!!

Dyeing to be blonde

I knew it wouldn't be long before he wanted to bleach his hair again and sure enough this was the weekend. So, Saturday before we picked up Brian at the airport we attempted to make Jared blonde. For the most part it turned out ok but we need to do it one more time. At least it's not orange like the last time.

Gotta love that processing time...NOT!!

I don't know, do you think he likes it...?

Save me from my recipe hell...

I think the title speaks for itself. I need some serious help. If I don't get some new recipes soon I fear my family might trade me in for a newer model who won't make the same things every week. I happen to know for a fact there are several of you who read this blog who not only cook but do it well. Even if you don't, you have something to give also. Scan what you have and email them to me at fiveismajic@hotmail.com. I am begging...please save me from a fate worse than death, ok well not really but you get the picture. Oh, and not to be picky but the quicker the meals the better I like it. Thanks in advance for all the recipes you are going to share. Have a great weekend.

Labor Day Laziness

We had the greatest labor day weekend. We did...NOTHING!! We laid around the pool, threw the football, watched movies, ate ice cream and took a nap. Well, I took the nap but still they were happy to get the break from me. ;) So, what did you do.

Happy Birthday Lil Jean

Today, my best friend Jeanette is celebrating another birthday. Sadly, I cannot be there to celebrate with her. Every year without fail we do each other's birthday's up BIG. It doesn't matter to us what the number says either. We are of the mindset birthday's are big deals and we always make it at least a 2 day celebration. Last year's surpise was the most fun I have ever had surprising someone. If you know Jeanette, then you know she is hard to buy for b/c it's like what do you buy the chick who has everything. However, one thing I know is she loves to eat. So, I took her to a brand new restaurant and then to a concert and backstage meeting with Aaron Neville. It was the greatest night and she couldn't have been more surprised. This year she will have to settle for lots of emails, phone calls and a box which is soon to be on the way.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEANETTE, I LOVE AND MISS YOU!!!

The Tiniest Starbucks Fan

This is Zoe, she is 4 months old and the daughter of my good friends back home, Geoff and Lisa. Geoff is a dedicated and loyal starbucks drinker and as you can see he is starting his kids young. Asia, 6 and Elijah 3, start their day with Vanilla Bean Frappuccino and their teachers wonder why they can't get them off the ceilings. ;) I miss you guys.
